Chris enters through front door.  Spencer and Zoe enter living room and Spencer turns on music of Sextet from Lucia Di Lammermoor and starts singing loudly and dancing around with Zoe.  Zoe is scantily clad and Spencer appears to be nude (audience view blocked by a half wall).

 

Spencer

Singing from the sextet/Lucia.  Chi mi frena in tal momento? Sees Chris enter and brightens up while he continues the song.  Chi troncò dell’ire il corso?

 

Chris

What are you doing?  You’re naked and jumping around my house bellowing like a cow!  Zoe waves Chris off, shrugs and exists.

 

Spencer

Il mio fratellino!  Ti Amo! Takes Chris by the face and kisses him on the mouth.

 

Chris

Oh no!  You kissed me on the mouth naked!

 

Spencer

Because I love you naked!  Starts dancing around Chris and singing in the tune of the Sextet. Oh Chrissy, I love you naked.  Yes I do, I love you Chrissy!

 

Chris

Would you stop and get dressed?Looks back across the street and points. Look Mom and Dad are on the way over.

 

Spencer

Yeah?

 

Don and Peggy enter.  Spencer turns off music and strikes nonchalant pose.

 

Don

What’s going on fellas?

 

Chris

Points at Spencer. That!

 

Don

What? Looks at Spencer.  Oh, So? To Chris.  Take it easy son.  Hang loose. Goes over to Spencer and they start conversing as though all is normal.

 

Chris

He’s doing enough of that for both of us.  Mother don’t look! Tries to cover her eyes.

 

Peggy

Stop honey.  So your brother has no clothes on.  I’ve seen that plenty of times.

 

Chris

To self. I don’t even want to know what that means.

 

Peggy

I’ve seen you plenty of times.  Close your curtains.

 

Chris

(Horrified) Mother!
